SERUS has been providing a comprehensive hosted supply chain management and execution solution to semiconductor and other high-tech companies for more than a decade. Its core offering consolidates real time operational data from a customer’s multi-tiered partner network, with unprecedented detail, into a single SaaS-based platform to provide visibility into work in process, inventory, engineering and shipments across the customer’s entire manufacturing and global supply chain. This granular level of supply chain detail enables companies to adapt on the fly, avoiding problems that could have potentially cost business.
The joint solution will leverage SEEBURGER’s widely adopted business integration technology to expand SERUS’ supply chain collaboration functions as well as expedite deployments for SERUS users. Hosted in the SEEBURGER cloud and powered by SEEBURGER Managed Services, it will include SEEBURGER-driven enhancements providing support for:
- Unstructured documents as well as the previously supported structured supply chain messages (EDI, XML, etc.), making it possible to incorporate information such as work-in-process reports into the communications chain
- Workflow collaboration with both small and large suppliers, utilizing SEEBURGER’s process flow engine to transparently connect customers’ internal processes to the Serus portal
- A full range of standards and protocols, notably including RosettaNet
- Faster supplier onboarding utilizing pre-configured SEEBURGER message maps tailored to the technology industry
- Integration with any ERP system utilizing pre-built SEEBURGER adapters
The joint solution will also utilize SEEBURGER’s enterprise-class business integration platform for critical data transmission and transformation functions.
